If there were such a rating of negative zero that is what I would give NRI because of the nursing director MJ she is such a stumbling block for certain type of students she does not hide it. This past semester alone over 20 students left the school they all had some type of unfair treatment from her she act one way with students when other personnel are around. Students be dropping and switching their classes just to avoid her but at some point they have to take her classes because some classes she is the only one that teaches them, if the owner of the school doesn’t reevaluate her faculty they can open as many other programs they want they still will not makeup for the amount of nursing students they are losing. I would not recommend anyone to attend NRI for many reasons.
A small school with a lot of heart. I started working here a little over a year ago and have never seen anyone bend over backwards as much as the director of this school. She genuinely cares for her students and wants them to accomplish all their goals! There is no perfect school but there is a perfect fit. The school you select has to be the right fit for you. I love the variety of students and the faculty works extremely well together. The class sizes are small to allow the most personal experience. If a student works hard and is willing to ask for help, when they need it, help is always available. Integrity and passion in our students is vital and what we are striving for!
I’m disagreeing with the notion about opening up the schools , the seats aren’t six feet apart , students are literally sitting elbow to elbow. Which is against the CDC guidelines of reopening schools . It’s very unsanitary and unhealthy for people to be on top of each other in a learning environment. It’s a distraction worrying about if your safe or not which will hinder people from being able to learn .
Pros: Small classes, beautiful campus surrounded by convenient stores and restaurants, some of the professors are knowledgeable and willing to help and answer your questions.nProvides some resources.nCons: Consistent changes of class schedules, lack of resources, and not enough equipment to accommodate the students, some of the professors left NRI institute of health science, FAVORITISM for sure, one of the owners can be sometimes negative at times without getting to know the students individually. THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL setting up students to fail, increase and changes in tuition cost.nIn conclusion: I pray for the students that are currently there or no longer at NRI institute of health science to not give up what God has for you it is for you. Don't let anyone opinion of you stop you from achieving your goals. I pray for strength, happiness, love, and healing for the students. Moreover, the owners at NRI institute of health science are not bad people, however I pray that God will touch their hearts, give them understanding, get to know each students, and to be humble. I also pray that the owners will motivate, and not discourage the students. God is Love, God is good all the time and Jesus loves you! Don't give up!
I had a wonderful experience at NRI. The professors were always helpful and knowledgeable and the owners as well have an open door policy and always willing to go the extra mile to help you. Yes the final semester can be grueling and the exit exam is hard, but it's to prepare you for the NCLEX to become a RN! (Which I passed the first time with only 75 questions!) Nursing school is not meant to be easy by no means! You have to put in the time and the studying! The night classes and night clinicals are amazing for the non-traditional student such as myself to be able to continue to work full time while going to school. And the resources and the time is always there if you're willing to put in the time. The owners even opened the doors for us on WEEKENDS for preparation for the exit and the NCLEX!
