Freedom Riders Academy

I run out of words when speaking about Freedom Riders and Allison. This has been a great experience for my son, after going thru a divorce and dealing with Covid, this is a true therapy and he loves every minute of it. Allison is just amazing and I love her. Thanks for being such a great influence and helping kids who are struggling with life dilemmas. You rock and I will be forever appreciative.

Freedom Riders Academy is an awesome and happy place to learn how to ride and take care of horses. I am 60 years old and new to riding and my instructor Fallyn makes it FUN! I'm learning a lot and having a blast. The horses are wonderful and have great personalities. All ages will enjoy Freedom Riders Academy!!!

I have been involved with FRA for many years. Allison is very professional, kind, knowledgeable, and obviously loves her rescue horses, clients/campers, and volunteer team. She gives great one on one lessons and also runs a fantastic summer camp in which kids can learn about horses, how to care for them, and how to ride. The horses are happy, healthy, and ready to work with riders of all different skill levels. FRA is a place that nurtures knowledge, community, bonds with beautiful horses, and a great work ethic. I am so glad to be involved with such a wonderful organization, and if you choose to get involved you will be equally embraced by the community and glad you joined.

I started volunteering at FRA when I was 16. At the time it was just to get hours for my high school requirement. I am 23 now , and although i don’t actively volunteer at FRA anymore , the barn is still near and dear to my heart . The owner of the barn , Allison, is absolutely wonderful. Her background in teaching and years of riding experience makes her the perfect instructor for all levels of riding . I highly recommend Freedom Riders Academy to everyone.

Freedom Riders Academy (FRA) has been another home for my special needs son for the past year. He started in summer camp and quickly grew a love for horses, helping around at the barn, and developing trusting relationships with the instructors and fellow riders. FRA has given my son an outlet to be himself, free of stress and anxiety, and helped him be independent and productive while riding and caring for the beautiful horses here. My family would recommend FRA to anyone, kids with special needs or not. This place is truly amazing on how it helps an individual as well as healing horses at the same time. We love you FRA!
