This park is actually called Eagle Cove Park and is maintained by Spanish Fork City. It was created at the same time as the surrounding homes were built — in 2018. With a small playground and swing set, and a grassy area, this is a great place to bring young children. (Source: Employed by Spanish Fork City at time of review)
Regarding the previous (incorrect) name, apparently someone in the neighborhood got on here and named the park after himself before the city had a chance. 🤣 Nice one.
Nice small, open area, but could use a little more watering
I had heard great things about this park and I had received free tickets from an online raffle. We got there and parking was terrible. The house next door charged me $5 to park on their lawn. Turned out it was the same guy who runs the park. He kept telling me kids to call him "Uncle Spence." It was all really creepy. Then he did a magic show where he managed to light himself on fire twice. Fire wasn't even part of his act.
There were used band-aids all over the park and half drank cans of licorice flavored Red Bull. I spoke to "Uncle Spence" about it and he said he was having difficulty with his employees. The only good thing was he let my kids use his bathroom three times and it was enough of a distraction to steal his vcr and classic pogs collection.
I'd visit again but not without a large dog or enchanted ward from a leprechaun. Maybe a hippogriff talon.
Spencer is great human being. This gives tears to me that finally something has been made in the memory of his name.
The man who donated fortune for war veterans that no one knew. But I knew. Sorry Spencer this has to come out to world. Good deeds can’t be hidden. One day truth will come out. And today is the day. Thank you Spencer.
I am so glad to have such a great park dedicated to the modern legend Spencer curtis
