Water is turned off for the winter. So bring your own, and be willing to share. The lawns are well kept and there is an ability park within. There are two, roughly equal grass areas for off-leash dogs. With no restrictions regarding size.
This is the best dog park in the valley. They have an agility course. There is plenty of grass and some shade. They have 2 areas they rotate between so that the grass can recover on one side while the other is open. There is enough room our giant Irish wolf hound can do some good running. It is usually very clean, there can be days where there is a lot of poop around but that ia dependent on the people and how busy of a day it is.
I love this dog park. It's the only one in the area that has a grassy area (so the pumps dont get too dirty) and it's always filled with dogs of all sizes. If you're looking for a good place to socialize your canine family member, this is the best place around.
We have been coming to this park for a couple years now and we love it!! Really grateful for the updates they have made like the concrete by the entrance where it used to get super muddy as well as the agility course.
This has been a great place for us to go be out in public during COVID and be around people in the community while still being able to be spread out and socially distanced.
We have never had any issues when visiting. The only thing to be aware of are those who bring intact males ... you're almost guaranteeing a fight or for someone to get bitten.
Overall super fun and friendly environment!
Literally the only park that is a grassy field in the whole state it seems. That is all I want. I also love the obstacle course. The thing that would make this 5 stars is if both sides were open. I know that is the supposed to be a selling point, but these 2 halves individually are not big enough for all the dogs that frequent here. I have small hyper active dogs who need A LOT of room, and are scared of larger dogs. I wish it was divided by size.
