If I could rate zero stars I would. We have been in contact with this location regarding holding our wedding ceremony here for about a month. We were told they do not book until a year in advance. (For example, we were wanting to book for March 2022, but were told no one was allowed to book for anything that month until March 1st, 2021) We even reached out again the week prior to ensure we had all required information to book. On March 1st, we called the moment the clock said 8 am, per their email. It turns out they had a wedding reschedule from last year, and it was scheduled for our date. Now, I am not upset they allowed a wedding from last year to reschedule - that's absolutely the right thing to do. However, they had several opportunities to tell us that due to extenuating circumstances there was one (later we found out several) dates unavailable. We now lost a month of looking into other venues because we were preparing for the gardens. Red flags were raised when we went to go see the venue and despite paying to get in, there was not a soul to walk with us to the different sites and discuss how they handle anything logistically. After speaking with our other selected vendors, we're now learning this is common practice and several vendors prefer not to work with them due to their unorganized manner and awful attitudes.nnBrides and grooms to be, be cautious. The grounds are beautiful, but this venue lacks even the most basic of communication skills. A day as expensive and important as your wedding deserves much better.
My husband and I got married here. The people that work here are very disorganized. They tell you one thing and then it ends up being something different. When I got to the bridal suite on my wedding day it was locked and I was already running late. I had to run around in the heat and find someone to open the door for me. They did not have a copy of the contract at the front desk for us to show our family the garden. They made us and all our guests come through the front entrance and walk all the way to the destination. Signs are tiny, you can’t see them, and many of our guests couldn’t even find where it was because they had another event going on there. Some of our guests almost went to the other event. Not sure why they would even have two events at once. Altogether NOT a very good experience. There’s no one around or to call to make sure things are running smooth. NO ONE. So we paid money to pretty much get married at a park. It would have been easier getting married at a public park. Do not recommend it. And they gardens aren’t even that beautiful.
A must-see every visit to FL and one of my favorite places. The dinosaurs are a fun addition. My children don’t even mind coming to this “nature park.” Many different gardens and habitats to see, smell, and experience. Highly recommend. It was pretty busy on the Saturday we visited, with at least one wedding. I would recommend visiting on a weekday to avoid the heavier crowds.
There is an amazingly beautiful time to be shared as you wander through this awe inspiring display of nature. A magical experience is sure to be had. Time stops as you venture through the many paths and themed gardens. Just when you thought it couldn't get more awe inspiring, there was something even more spectacular around every corner. There were signs of life everywhere you looked and at this juncture in the world, this peace and reassurance is needed. The beautiful soul I experienced this garden with even found signs from my best friend, (She was also 4 legged and furry,) who passed in October. When we arrived we asked her to show us a sign via a 4 leaf clover and low and behold my partner found one as soon as I spoke the words into the universe. I've been looking for a sign since as I know energy cannot be created or destroyed.
A peaceful gem for Orlando locals. I have been here many times over the years for a relaxing stroll through the rose garden and woods along the lake. Concrete pathways are perfect for families with a stroller or wheeled chair. Friday night movie nights in the summer. Dazzling lights tonight for Christmas. Great family day or night out. For all ages and entire familial generations to enjoy.
