Eglin Family Campground

Absolutely a wonderful clean camping experience. It's is a place we must return to. Gravel spots with concrete patio. All sorts are pretty leave. We made reservations 6 weeks out, paid in advance and couldn't have ask for better weather.

We like the campground. Wish they had Wi-fi. Olivia in the office went out of her way to help us. Thanks

Nice large spots. Wooded area. Very pretty. It had nice laundry facilities. Great price!

The grounds are unkept, no dog park or kids play area. Speed limit is not enforced, and children play on the streets since no area for them. The park has no lighting at night and gets very dark. The bathhouse is not cleaned daily and mildew is always prevalent in shower area. It could be such a lovely area since so close to water. Unfortunate the arwa is not kept up better, especially since raising rent $100 with no evidence of using this money for improvements.

Great campground. Can’t beat the price and the proximity to the commissary and exchange. Lots of shade. Fairly level sites with a concrete patio. Quiet. AT&T full LTE service. Made a reservation a few months out of our planned stay. Was hoping for a long term site to open up, and it did.nnA few things to note:n1. If you are looking for a long term site, the office only goes off of the sites 180 day date.. like the site I’m in now I COULD stay here until March. So the office assumes that this site will be booked until March. They really don’t check the sites for vacancy’s. Someone in a long term site could pull out today even though they haven’t hit their 180 day mark. So the office really doesn’t know that a site is open since they seem to not check.n2. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon to the west gate. We have a 44ft fifth wheel. I should have anticipated the gate having barricades up, but I didn’t. It was a TIGHT fit weaving in and out of the barricades. Luckily I didn’t hit anything. If you have a big rig, be prepared.
