This was a hike for us but we are members for all of the gardens and it was a nice day for a drive.nnIt is on the smaller side if you go to many botanical gardens but it was beautiful. They had lots of butterflies when we were here. They have plenty of areas to sit and they had a nice store as well.nnThe guys in the front were super awesome and helpful. It's also right next to the Holocaust Memorial which turns out where we parked was right in the middle of the 2. I highly recommend walking next door to that when you're done.nnGreat peaceful get away from the hustle and bustle of Miami.

Beautiful tiny botanical garden where you could feed fish in the bond with fountain. Clean area with some places for good photos. Clean restrooms.nAs a cons, it's really very small, ~15 mins for all places to observe.nNote, price with cash is smaller rather than tickets bought by card /online.

In the gift shop you can even buy food to feed the fish and turtles. They also have a little bar for drinks as well. Very pretty and peaceful. Loved it!

This place is beautiful. I use an app called seek and it will identify plants and animals/insects so I walked around for hrs identifying different species. I love the banana/plantain trees!!

I'm all about city-run facilities like this and fully support them. I've been wanting to go to the MB gardens for the past year (I live down the street). I finally went today and was truly underwhelmed. If you're a Floridian it's practically the same experience as walking into someones backyard in a suburb down here... I wouldn't have complained or written this review if it wasn't $5 for a ticket (no break for locals btw) but it was a complete waste of money. Spend your $5 on gas and drive west, go into any neighborhood, and walk around...
