Vortex Spring

The spring is awesome for diving, definitely worth a visit. However, the restrooms are always so gross, that they are unusable. And the rest of the facilities are a disaster. It gets 5 stars because the spring itself is amazing.

Great weekend trip with my daughter. Our first dives since getting certified. Weather was colder than we wanted but the Spring was a good place to hone beginner skills.

Always refreshing to go recharge in this water! Take your dog and a picnic basket and do some grilling next to this beautiful spring. Picnic tables and grills are available all around the property. Dogs are only allowed in the vortex runoff area away from people but at least they can swim!! ud83eudd70 The world renowned dive flag was actually invented here with a huge memorial that talks about it.

Great setup for diving or swimming. Camp areas and a store to pick up stuff quickly
