Center Academy Prep Coral Springs

Called twice last week to speak to the director and tried touring but she was not there. not sure about enrolling my son at a school where the director is not available. Seems nice school but hidden

Great school! Great program, direction and staff. Organized and equipped to address student’s individual education needs. In 20 years working with students, I always hear wonderful things from students that have gone to Center Academy. There Children get the help they need! I now have a student registered to Center and so far it has been a great experience!

Center Academy has been a life saver for us. We love the small and caring environment. They have helped my teen flourish. We adore Barbara and all the staff.

Before finding Center Academy my kids have been in public schools, charter schools and home schooled as a last resort. It took until my daughter was in 8th grade and attending Central Academy to be able to speak in class, participate in class, making friends, has a real social life and truly wants to be in school without fear. My daughter has never been able to be involved in school ever do to the severity of her anxiety & the amount of bullying she endured do to being a little different. She was behind academically and had learn to shut down for fear of making mistakes, teachers getting angry because she didn't understand the lesson, kids making fun of her for not understanding. Even though she had a 504 and an then IEP to help her (this is truly my opinion from our experiences) public schools are not educated nor equipped with the proper teachers to work with students that just don't learn at the same pace as others.nnFrom the 1st moment I spoke with Mrs. Cooper to get information about her school, she was very welcoming. To see my kids excited to want to go to school was such a grate feeling. I knew that my daughters life was finally going to change for the better and she was going to actually learn. And have a future. She has gone from D's & F's in public school to now making A's & B's. This school does not tolerate any misconduct nor bullying. Mrs. Cooper runs a very tight shift and makes sure ALL of her students get the education they need & deserve. Center Academy has gone over and above to help make sure my daughters and all of there students are never behind for lack of understanding. My daughter now plays basketball ball, soccer & is in the year book club. She has real friends, hangs out at the mall, goes to the park, my daughter is able to be a kid & I owe this all to Center Academy and there amazing teachers. This school has done for my kids what no other could and that is to allow them to learn without fear. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for all of these students.

Huge weight has lifted off my daughter. We had spent years trying to force her to conform to the learning environment of her previous school, leaving her completely overwhelmed. Now, after only 4 months at Center Academy Prep in Coral Springs, we clearly see this is the type of learning atmosphere she needed from the beginning. She is working at her own pace and with the time pressure eliminated, she is giving her best efforts on the assignments. No more stressing over being the last one in class to turn in a paper. Her attitude toward learning has completely changed. She doesn't just give up anymore. She has begun to apply herself. And, as a family,we have all felt the relief ,,,, no more tears in the evening hours as we struggled to complete daily assignments that she'd been unable to complete during class time. The teachers at Center Academy keep her on track and engaged in the subjects. Her self confidence has gone through the roof !! Bottom line....my daughter is flourishing at this school with this learning structure and we couldn't be more pleased.
