Heron Bay Golf Club

My first and last time playing here was 2 weeks ago. The staff are friendly and great, and they know the problems of the course all too well. This course is overbooked every day, 100% of the time. Not just a little, a lot. Tee time was 1:31PM. They didn't have enough carts, so we waited around until 2:15 before we had them. The course was so crowded it was the slowest game of my live. We didn't finish until 7:15. Inexcusable. You couldn't pay me to play here in the future. It's a shame, the course is beautiful, and is very fun to play. I feel very badly for the staff. Whoever runs this golf course hasn't a clue on how to run one. Shame on them.

To have read closed for renovations over websites during the time they have been closed I was not sure what was to be expected. It was honestly like playing in mud. Rough was soaked and if you tried to walk on the fairway you were inch deep in mud. Balls lost in fairway due to them being plugged. The fairway could of been categorized as rough because they can't even mow it or it would shred them. The greens..what a joke. Some one walked around with a bucket of sand and just dumped it over the entire green. I don't even know how to be a greens keeper but I am sure I would of done a better job. The cart boys....just watched as you put your bags into the drop area and you get in your cart and pick them up yourself. What used to be somewhat enjoyable was a disaster and how they are holding an amateur tournament this week is beyond me.

Great course good conditions well worth the time and money to play greens fairways and bunker s were really fun and good shape

Sat here with 16 people at 7pm for a half hour waiting for someone to come and bring balls for the range. It wasn’t until a random golfer jumped into the cart and drove it around the field to bring us balls back which we had to pick out of the cart. We used those balls for an hour and still no one showed up! What a mess! Golfers are taking turns driving the cart to pick the balls up.

Once and never again.. the golf course needs some serious work on everything grass, sidewalks, ball cleaners, bunkers ect everything.nNot very smooth not playable course. Is like golfing in Haiti best hotel.
