Thunderboat Marine Service Center

Thunderboat Marine is not a good place to store a boat on a trailer. Boating is about relaxation and tranquility, starting with the peace of mind that your boat is safe and adequately cared for when you are not using it. This is not something Thunderboat Marine can offer, at least for boats on trailers. I stored my boat there for about 6 months. The following reasons made me look elsewhere to store my boat.n1.tA broken trailer-guide covern2.tA scratched trailer tire fendern3.tTrailer brake actuator emergency cable brokenn4.tSomeone was obviously soldering metal near my boat, and the metal particles penetrated the gelcoat of the swimming platform and backside of the boat, creating rust stains all over the area.n5.tWhen not in use, my boat was constantly moved around, which I believe led to a lot of the damage it incurred.n6.tThere are no dedicated parking areas for boats on trailers returning from boating. Often on weekends, the areas for flushing the boat engine or cleaning the boat was completely occupied with vehicles of other customers that have their boats on rack storage, so you will find yourself with no place to flush your engine or even leave your boat overnight so Thunderboat staff can move it in the morning.n7.tThere is no surveillance for boats on trailers, so if something happens, and it will here, good luck trying to prove it.n8.tThe boat trailer storage area is overcrowded.n9.tA price increase of $48/month in a 6-month timeframe for a total of 258/month. Not worth it the price paid.

This is my first experience having my boat at a dry storage facility. I usually speak with Don or Donna. These people have great customer service. They have an amazing floating dock. A few times, I've left my boat at the floating dock and I forgot to call them to put it up, but they always call to ask if I want it put in dry storage and they'll also call if a storm is coming to put it away. In the 6 months that my boat has been there, I haven't had any issues. Anytime I call to have my boat put in or out of the water, it has been done without any issues. I highly recommend this place.

Great experience at this facility, accommodating , knowledgeable and service oriented . Great group of professionals running a great operation . Their pricing is fair and the work was delivered on time. I was amazed how accommodating they were to my referal and the effort they went through to make sure my friend’s vessel was taken care of even though it was not a revenue producer for them.nHighly recommended

Looks like a very nice building and we were looking forward to storing our new boat here but Maureen made it harder than necessary to do business with Thunderboat. We are from out of town & arranged long-term storage of our boat & trailer but when we tried to deliver it, Maureen wouldn’t let us because she was leaving early for the day (we arrived at 4:25p and they close at 5:00p). We caught her on the way out & asked if we could just drop the boat and do the paperwork in the morning but she flatly said no.nnAs a result, we had to find last minute storage after hours, change flights, and figure out logistics while dragging a boat. Whatever that human quality is that most people have that makes them willing to help others when they can - she lacks. Shame because everything else seemed good. The interaction cost me & my family a lot of time & money, so I wish I’d never contacted this business.
