Love this place. PLENTY of walking areas (you decide the amount of walking you want to do) dirt road with rocks (I don't think it's wheelchair friendly) but there's also a long nature bridge that would be wheelchair accessible if you have a park ranger transport you to the bridge. We were able to catch beautiful scenery of birds, a gator, turtles and plenty of sun. Sun screen a hat and $5.00 for entry are a must. Restrooms are available (not the cleanest) but usable in an emergency. I would definitely recommend.

My sister and I love this park. It was really hot but there are shaded areas to rest. Water is a must out there! We saw Gators, birds everywhere, a few deer, a turtle, fish. Really nice maintained pathways.

Beautiful for an afternoon walk. Mind you, leave you dogs at home. Plenty of gators, a baby one crossed our path , can only imagine that mama is close behind. In a nice 2 mile walk, saw a rabbit, 2 Gators ( one was so massive that scared the daylights gotta me and I've lived in the swap for a long time, lol) , beautiful birds, etc. If it's sunny bring a hat if you burn, there is no shade or cover. Have fun!

This is a beautiful park for walking and seeing nature. It is fun to see all the different birds and the alligators sunning on the banks. I love this place it's a treasure!

Sweetwater is such a beautiful gem allowing an amazing getaway. There is so much to take in from the plants to the birds and butterflies and the nice people to the great weather. Sometimes if you're lucky you can get a glimpse of the wild horses that pass through.
