Good stuff! We so the kids can Go Ape. They did and loved it so much they wanted to go back the following day. Didn't take them up on their offer, but would have if we could have. For ages 6 and 8, there were three courses that they enjoyed themselves on for one hour. Would definitely recommend. Perhaps we'll return when everyone is of age to throw axes!
Conquered our fears as a family today. Such a great experience. The staff had the best kind of patience. Great to bring a lunch basket and bikes, to be able to enjoy the awesome garden, playground and trails as well.
This park has loads to offer for people of all ages. Theirs a botanical garden at the center of a round about when you 1st arrive. After taking the first right at that round about you are able to access a Historical site in one parking lot, a playground for children and a picnic area with access to a lengthy trail for hiking and biking. If it's in your budget, this park also feature a Go Ape Zip-line Course that gos through out the whole park. This park is definitely worth a visit.
We love to mountain bike. The trails at freedom Park are awesome. Whomever installed the new extension to trail C gets an A Plus. Great Job
This is a really nice park. Great trails, paved and dirt. The trail maps were very helpful. The Go Ape adventure look like a lot of fun, if a little bit expensive. A lot of bicycles running around today too. They have different levels of trails for them, from nice and smooth to a little bit scary. LOLToday I was just hiking and geocaching, but I have been to the Botanical Garden before and it's informative and quite pretty. Freedom Park would be a really nice place to spend a few hours with the family.
