We parked here as part of our backpacking trip. Our car stayed safe the whole time, and when we ran into difficulty on our trail, they came and helped us out! Absolutely would stay there again when we are in the area. Absolutely beautiful countryside.
My favorite national forest campground that I've stayed in thus far. Very nice well spaced sites with lots of shade. In cottontail loop some sites on inner circle are near a small open area where satalite TV will pick up. Absolutely no cell phone signal.
Great spot. Bring a map, or download local maps before coming, because you won't have cell service here.
Excellent location. Well maintained. Very friendly staff. Lots of great sites.
My grandparents visit here all the time and I sometimes go with them, it is an amazing place for a kids and adults. One problem is the little to no cell signal, but if that's not a problem there is very nice trails to hike and a play area for kids with a pond to swim in, beach volleyball court, and playground.
