We had a great experience at this campground. Todd and Linda were super nice and gave us a map to the channels hike. The river is beautiful and everything was very peaceful. Can’t wait to come back! (22 ft travel trailer - site X5)
We had such a great experience at riverside campground. The owners were very welcoming and informative. I can not give them enough praise for the great hospitality. The campground is well kept with decent showers and bathrooms. WE had a blast there. Our tent sites were on the water and it was beautiful to be able to jump in the water with out floats and float around. So peaceful!
Too many rules. Horrible hosting/managers. Not very understanding with other important events. No Wifi and the bath house has no heat what so ever. Not clean.
My wife and I stayed 2 wonderful weeks at this gem in the rough. Anniversary dinner in town such a delightful evening. Kayaking in the north fork river. Riding the Virginia Creeper Trail and the back roads along the North FolknThe staff and many friends made this a memorable 2 weeks. Thank you
My friend and I stayed this past weekend for a climbing trip. Absolutely wonderful campground. The camping spots are right next to the river which is so nice for sleep. It was very quiet and family friendly. The amenities are great too! Hot showers, fire wood and ice for sale, and wifi in the office. Office staff is amazing as well! I will definitely return here when I come back to Abingdon.
