The service was great, delivery was and setup was on-time and as scheduled. The only problem experienced was at pickup, the contract was for a specific storage/use period and I assumed that PODs would come out at the end of the service date to pickup the container but after 48hrs they did not and thereafter charged me for another month of service. I contacted PODs and the representative apologized for the situation and explained that I should have called to schedule a pickup and stated that I didn't have to be present on the day of pickup. I was charged 1/2 month rental plus a pickup Fee for having the POD on my premises for 48-hours. An expensive lesson to learn when it was never discussed that a pickup call was required at the end of the rental service period.
No rush moving things from the house! Super Pro POD parkers! Reasonable pricing with exact timing from delivery to move to pickup! Lots of notice prior to payments. Pro staff who are extremely helpful and friendly. Great storing and moving experience.
I went to the office and just like no pick on the phone no no one was there. Then when I went back to web the container was not available, and the storage yard had tons of containers. So I took my business somewhere else and had a wonderful experience.
Using Pods for my state to state move was well worth the money ud83dudcb0, Time and Peace of Mind. A most welcome experience in our present times.
Although PODS insist that you purchase additional insurance that is billed along with your monthly rate it is not needed and can be opted out of. But customer service representatives do not tell you this. Some items in my POD shifted significantly and caused damage to some of my items. I filed a claim and spoke to a PODS franchise owner and he told me that the insurance does not cover our personal property In the event it gets damaged or shifts too much during transport because they cannot guarantee how your items were packed. I used them 3 times previously and never had an issue until recently. Do not expect the insurance to cover your property EVER. You will not get a claim heard or paid out.
