Beware, do not use this company. We hired them when they had the best reviews in Richmond. They were suppose to move us, store our furniture and then deliver it when we had our new home. They stole, lost and damaged over $16,000 worth of our belongings. 95% of the boxes they delivered in February 2020 was busted into and stuff was broken or taken. They even stole our clothes, but left the hangers. They do not have a registered business license nor do they have a valid address. We paid $350 for extra insurance that Mr Walter Jones canceled without letting us know. We lost a lot to this company and have pictures to show it.
These were the best movers I have ever used. They were professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable on what needed to be done and the best way to get it done. They were also HALF the cost of the other quotes and offered the same, if not more, services. Not to mention that I had to change my moving day TWICE with a 24 hour notice. There was NEVER a complaint; just adjustments and accommodations by the owner himself. Mr. Jones also made sure that I was satisfied and everything was to my liking before he even took my payment. I will definitely be using them again and referring them to my friends and family.
We booked a move from Richmond, VA to Cary, NC and the entire process was seamless and awesome. I could not even think of one improvement opportunity ud83dude0a.nnMention below some of the things which comes to my mind per the experience.n•Cost – One of the best and cheapest quote of all, flat rate and no hidden charges. We were so pleased with the experience therefore included 10% gratuity on top of the agreed amount.n•On time arrival – They promised to arrive at 12pm for pickup on Friday 5/31 and they were at door 11:59am… again promised to deliver at 12pm on Saturday 6/1 and were outside our new home at 11:55am (again this was long distance move)n•Fast and Efficient – Pickup completed in 2hrs and all boxes/furniture assembled in 2.5hrs… I was little surprised the way this team was picking furniture/boxes however they were strong and quickn•No Breakage – Adequately handled, all intactnnOverall a great experience and with the owner (Walter) being personally involved the entire process was stress free. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
They stored and then lost all our restaurant equipment. I called daily for over a month, I sent text messages and the owner Walter never returned any of my calls. Someone please tell me how you can lose restaurant equipment. I'm sure he sold my stuff or the storage locker company auctioned them off because he never paid his bill. He also does not list the location of his business on his website. Only a fool would use his services after reading my post.
Walter and his crew were amazing! They are way under priced for the value they deliver. We had to have massive pieces passed outside over a balcony. It was dangerous, yet they made it look safe and routine. We loved them so much, we tipped the guys well and hired them again to finish moving our storage shed. I won’t recommend anyone else.nnThey work well as a team, did not swear, and were exceedingly polite. We recommended them to our realtor.
