The ramp is in pretty good shape. But the channel is shallow and narrow and poorly marked

Poles at the boat ramp have screws/nails sticking out and has scratched our boat! This problem needs to be fixed ASAP

I don't own a boat but I walk by the ramp frequently and its looks very nice and its used often.

I have been using this ramp for years and as of 2020 it needs some help. Ladders have been destroyed and long screws are sticking out. There is a floating dock which is nice. Unless dredging is done, at low tide the depth is a max of 3' and depending on the moon and wind even less at times. High tide is an average of about 5-6' deep. Keep that in mind if you plan to use this ramp..

As long as you don't own a sailboat, it's a great boat launch... small draft boats only... mainly power boats... I had to take my dinghy in from my sailboat to see it, Hampton city has an ordinance against people who live on boats, so I'll be leaving soon... not very friendly here towards boaters... just my opinion
