I've been coming for a couple of years, always for lunch. Got the seafood combination pasta today. Absolutely phenomenal!! It has calamari, shrimp, scallops, and clams cooked in a pink sauce. The calamari is cooked to absolute perfection, not chewy at all. I 100% recommend. Also the lunch size portions are totally enough to make another meal out of. Great deal for what you get. Also bought a jar of the salad dressing!
We ordered take out tonight and it was just delicious. We got the shrimp/prosciutto appetizer, along with the Tortellini Cucina and the Lobster Ravioli special entrees. It was simply delicious, and the portions were extremely generous. We love the food, and the prices are reasonable. Can't wait until we can eat there and not have to drive back home. We used to live in New Jersey, and we think that Mama Cucina has the best Italian food in the Richmond area.
The best Italian around! I don't come here often and when I realize that it's been a while, I can't wait to go! They have such great service and even better food. I love this place!
Make sure Joseph is working! He’s a riot and will make sure you have the best dishes and cocktails! Easily my new favorite Italian spot and restaurant in general for Richmond!!
My husband and I came here for a late lunch last week and everything from the food and service was five star! The servings were so big I couldn’t eat everything. While I was boxing up my food I knocked it all over onto the floor. The server went and ordered me some more pasta to compensate what I spilled. We are restaurant owners ourselves and are not easily impressed but the service and food is what’s separates Mama Cucinas from the rest! Thank you for such a pleasant dining experience!
