Casa Italiana Restaurant

First and foremost, the service here was great. Basically just makes you feel like family.nnSo, my buddy & I decided to eat here for lunch. It is now 9pm and I’m super excited that I still have leftovers from earlier. The food was THAT good. I highly recommend!

This place is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever patronized. The food was amazing, and the service was top notch. We came with a party of over 20, and the were seated immediately. When the food arrived, it was hot and visually appealing. If you find yourself craving Italian food, and you are in the Richmond area, you cannot go wrong here!

On a Saturday night between 6 PM to 7:30 PM, we couldn’t find a place to eat after tried two restaurants at the Stony Point Fashion Park and three restaurants at Libby and Grove. Found this place on Google with 4.7 stars review and they have tables available. Tables are six feet apart, all servers wear face mask. The food is amazing. Highly recommended.

I went to this restaurant with my husband and baby on Valentine's Day. We didn't have a reservation and asked the young lady if they had any available tables. She told us no, and that she would check with the manager. A party of 3 people walked through the door after us, who also said that they didn't have a reservation. When the young lady returned, she sat the people that came in after us in a booth and told us there was no room for us. She offered to sit us in a small middle table, where there was clearly not enough room to fit a high chair for our baby. I certainly understand that they may not have available tables without reservation, but to sit people that came in after us, also without reservation, right in front of our face was unacceptable. I can only guess that either they did not want to accommodate our infant daughter or that they figured 3 adults would pay more than 2. Either way, this experience left us feeling terrible and unwanted.

Food was exceptional. Service could have been better but the one server is answering the phone, sitting customers, running take out orders from the kitchen to the front, ringing out sales, taking orders and serving food. Hopefully, there was a call out and not how they typically do business. Allow 2 1/4 hours to complete your dining experience. Establishment has a pizzeria type venue in the front and fine dining in the back. Be sure to browse the tables in the front with a varity of separate sauces, noodles and wines for purchase as you are not informed of their availability.
