Although they fly their jets directly over my house in all hours of the night and day, the air show is great and the facilities are nice too.

Apparently, they have no respect for the community, especially at 9p.m., when people have to be up, to work in the morning. Why can't they ground, the planes by 8p.m, we listen to the noise all day and that's annoying enough. Have some Respect. They think they run Virginia Beach, let them tell it, to hell with people, that just want to have a quite day off.

I was stationed at Oceana for 7 years both active duty and as a reservist. Loved my time there and I still go to the air shows there. Unfortunately, if you live nearby, the F18 Super Hornets are extremely noisy.

there flying the keys 24/7 even during the night my father was outside having a cigar when we went away back in 2016 and he saw them flying the planes around 2AM

Awesome place to hit for us military retirees when down in the Virginia Beach area. This base facilitates an awesome Bx, commissary, and class VI store.
