Great little airport. Lots of flight training operations here.
My dad 86 yrs old a Retired Navy pilot is getting his private license. So while my dad is flying I wait with my mom and watch the planes and activity. The staff is awesome and very friendly.. Ned Lowery

AVOID HORIZON ALL COSTS. GO TO EPIX AND GET TREATED RIGHT. The main terminal is nice...but...nI've been around aviation since 2004 and a Navy transfer last year. I heard about this place as I was looking for a new home FBO. This is one of the worse I've been exposed to so far. I walked into the hanger introduced myself to the maintenance guy and asked if I could look at the 172 he was working on because the owner was looking to sell it. The guy said sure go ahead. Two minutes later Chuck, learned his name later, came out and chewed my ass for coming in the hanger. I told him his employee said it was fine...he didn't believe me. Told me hangers are not safe. I said really? Looking around with only one plane in there...the one I was looking at. I said thanks for kicking out of a hanger for the first time ever...and walked out.nnDid a little homework. Chuck's business is hemorrhaging fast because he's a dick and treats people bad. They even lost another CFI to nextdoor
