Love going here. Looking down on Harrogate and Cumberland Gap is so peaceful. On Easter Sunday, to my surprise, it was not very crowded which made it all the more enjoyable! Of all the times we've been here, this was the 1st time we went to see the iron furnace. It's also short drive from Knoxville so we are able to go often.

This place is gorgeous. Convenient camper parking. Only downside is not having water hookup at your site. You have to fill your reserve at the entrance. Worth the drive!! Great walking trails.

The hiking here is amazing. If one were to hike to the Tri-state peak, they would not regret it. It's a strenuous journey, but the view is worth it. After reaching the top, one could tell their friends they hiked in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia. If one were to begin a hike from the visitor's center in Kentucky, they could hike through the Gap to Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. There is a little cafe there that has great food.

Beautiful. Went on a very clear day and the view of the Pinnacles was gorgeous. Love the rich history and the trails are well maintained. Can't say that about the roads though leading from HWY 988. Staff was very knowledgeable and was given maps of the trails. Will be back.
