Nice returning to the best well equipped hard core gym in the area.nnI have only one concern. Many of the clients don't mask or distance. Cleanliness could improve.

If I still lived in VA this would more than likely be my gym of choice. They seem to continue upgrade/update their facility and equipment. Clean gym, good vibes. Plethora of equipment and space. Powerlifting room, large turf, boxing area, squat racks for days (super rare), and more things

I love Gold's Gym on Laburnum. We are all aware of Covid. I just came back to the gym. Why is it so hard to wear your mask when taking a break. People just randomly walking from upstairs to downstairs without a mask! I am seeing so many people jumping on equipment without wiping it down! It's great with all of the 10ft rule. It means nothing if people are following the rules. Why is Gold's not addressing this matter. Oh! I forgot! It's about the money! Maybe it's time to cancel!

I really liked this gym when I first joined but it went downhill fast. First- the number of people in some of the group classes is insane, especially for popular classes. Second- Communication is terrible. I called to cancel my private training and it took 5 months. I left 13 messages, over the phone and in person and no one ever called me back. I was told that no one was there. When do the trainers work??? Third- Music is way too loud. Fourth-When I did sign up for training I mentioned that I had surgery a year ago and the trainer was very nosey and kept asking me what kind of surgery I had. It was none of his business. Fifth- Trainers spend way too much time talking to each other and texting on their phone. However the female trainers are awesome! Very motivating. Sixth-Do a better job of cleaning. There's always tissue and napkins thrown everywhere

Staff always polite, facility smells of cleaning products regularly & although sometimes very busy I still have space to do my own work-out.
