Honestly, very disappointed! I have been a member at Crunch for many years and have always enjoyed being a member. I haven’t been there since March due to COVID restrictions. Unfortunately, I got a new debit card and didn’t know to update them. I never received a notification of debt owed until they chose to send it to a collection agency. Not a piece of mail, phone call, or anything. So when I received a $200 bill, I was shocked. Manager of duty was rude and unwilling to help. I hope everyone learns from my experience.
I had to pay a 132. dollars to crunch westend because I canceled it last year when covid hit and they kept billing me and didn't let me know. Then I got an alert from my credit bureau saying it was on my credit. I guess they don't have much business now so they ripped me off to get more money. I only work 4 minutes away so it wasn't hard to go cancel. I can't find papers showing I canceled so I got screwed. Stay away, they will screw you.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience in Crunch. I was unnecessarily charged every month, even after sending numerous emails to freeze my membership during COVID.When I called to cancel the membership, I was told it could only be done in person. Naturally I was apprehensive of visiting a public place like gym during COVID. After 5 months when I could actually be there in person, it was frozen only for 3 months (I was told this is the maximum time they can freeze) and furthermore wrongly charged an annual fee of $50 to auto renew my membership without approval. The manager has always has been very rude, not only this time but also the time when I joined the gym and wanted to change the membership type.nI have heard good reviews about Crunch in general but will recommend not to join this branch.
Nice family feel to this gym, and the facilities are always clean!!
I recently switched locations and trainers. I am glad I did. The Ridgefield location is always clean and staff just as friendly. Shout out to my Trainer IBad! He has been a great coach and adviser. When our schedules get busy, he is even willing to write homework, to help staying flexible. That’s a great mentor
