This park is hugely underrated. I believe it to be the premier public park within Henrico County. Upon entering the park, you will be greeted by a large playground and picnic area with restrooms nearby. Beyond that is a large field where you are will find people flying kites, RC drones/planes, playing soccer or ultimate frisbee, sunbathing, or even exercising! In the far-back side of the park you will find a family friendly animal farm. On occasion, the park will have special events where you can interact with these animals! In the far-right corner of the park you will find a very large sports park complete with baseball fields, football fields, and even active concessions during tournaments and games. In the far-left corner of the park you will find a small stocked lake where you may catch and release fish. Beyond the lake are numerous walking/biking trails to enjoy! Be sure to stop by the Glen Allen Market before visiting to get all your snacks and drinks!

Love walking my dog here! SO many options depending on the distance you'd like to trek! You can go through the woods, visit the farm animals, venture over to the ball fields, even meander your way out to Mountain Road. (I have no trouble racking up a few miles.) I always enjoy the ducks on the pond, and feeding time seems to be around 3 p.m. for the livestock. Huge fields for picnics or Frisbee. I will keep coming back!

Love this park. Suggest more setting benches along the walking area trails for seniors resting spots and for other just to enjoying the beautiful views.

I love this place! I went there to capture photos of the wildlife. The trails are beautiful. They’re surrounded by nature and easy to navigate. There’s also a big pond that is home to some domestic ducks. The pond is a nice place to walk around also. In the woods, I observed many birds and several squirrels. There’s also a small area with farm animals. The farm is cool, however I wish there were more animals. Apart from that, this place rocks! The trails are wonderful!
