We have been going here since it opened 6 summers ago, even before we moved to the neighborhood. The closest playground to an area library in the county. So easy to combine the twin pleasures of reading and playing on a Saturday at home. Splash park enjoyable. Can get real crowded on nice days. Walk from Twin Hickory Rd to Shady Grove Rd across both playgrounds very nice. Newly added sandy volleyball fields good. Shelter well suited for the mini community gatherings. Other fields also just across in Deep Run high school. All in all, plenty of things to do for an afternoon.

Way too busy for covid times, but a FANTASTIC park with tons to do and lots of trails to walk in or outside of the gorgeous woods.
