A good trail to enjoy even for beginners. The view from Rice Fields is spectacular looking out into West Virginia. The shelter has a nice picnic table and fire pit. I wish there could have been a better view of Pearisburg or Narrows from top of the mountain
Great hike. Saw lots of wildlife and even found some endangered plants.
