I highly recommend New River Valley Wellness for therapeutic massage and yoga instruction. I had a TUI NA style massage with Tone (check website for description). It was awesome and I felt the positive effects for several weeks. I then began a yoga practice (my first) several months ago. Tone and Thea are both excellent instructors. They are very knowledgeable and encouraging. They work with you at your own personal level.
I have taken yoga from Thea over the course of the last six or seven years. Her classes are varied, balanced and invigorating. Thea tailors her classes to the needs and ability of the participants and does so with grace and fluidity. I have taken several classes with Tone and enjoyed them very much. Both Thea and Tone have a sincere and positive energy that enhances the practice. I would highly recommend yoga with both of these excellent instructors.
I have received services from both Thea and Tone'. They are both dedicated caring professionals. I am currently receiving tuina on a regular basis. I find that it relaxes both my body and spirit and bolsters me for my own work as a healing artist.
NRV Wellness has fantastic yoga classes for all levels. I have had the pleasure of practicing ashtanga style yoga with Thea for several years now, and had numerous classes with Tone as well. Thea has helped me improve my alignment in ways I never thought possible! They also happen to both be my go-to people for massage. I can't recommend them enough!
Tone' is a talented massage therapist. I recommend that you try his services.
