Excellent way to enjoy nature right in the city.
This trail just under 3/4 mile can be quite confusing to follow. Its a mix of fields, street crossings, backyard traversing and finally a short section of single-track trail.nStart this trail by crossing RXR tracks and continuing adjacent to the tracks until the small bridge accesses a neighboring field.nThen you'll skirt Haycraft Park, cross Haycraft St. and basically follow Valley Creek on your right through 3 backyards.nThis will put you on East Poplar Street. Make your way toward a private residence but before you trespass you'll drop into a field, following Buffalo Creek and taking you to Cave Spring Trail.nThere are a few historical locations on this trail at the Cave Spring intersection.
