Mill Creek Nature Park Trails

I've lived in the area since 1986. I can't believe I haven't laid eyes on this gem until yesterday. Congrats to the Town of Narrows for preserving such an awesome area. As others mentioned, great waterfalls, rhododendron, and some killer views here and there. Yes, the trails might be better marked, and yes, wear good footwear, and be prepared for a workout of a hike. Can't wait to visit again.

This is a hidden gem of the area. These trails are beautiful with lots of rhododendron and mountain laurel. Nice waterfalls that shrink when there is little rain, but a nice alternative to the crowds at the Cascades. In summer the waterfall trail is especially nice because the temperatures under the tree cover are much lower than elsewhere. If you're not up for a big hike, the Mill Creek by the parking lot is great for mountain stream exploration, for kids of all ages.

Absolutely beautiful area. The trail to the waterfall (1.3 miles) is the most traversed area, but there are many trails in this area to explore. We’ve done the loop (5 miles) and gone to Sentinel Point and back (8 miles). Just be careful. We almost ran right into a rattlesnake on our way up to the Point (dog got within two feet of it before we realized and started yelling at her to come back - she did!)
