First the GREAT points: Sprawling campground with views, shade, plenty to do internally, nearby towns to shop, large camp store, golf cart rentals, and nightly rates are reasonable. On the October weekends they now have numerous Halloween inflatables to blow up for guests all around the front of the property. Very colorful & fun!nNow the not-so-great points: Our site - A66 - was in poor condition & NOT for full-sized long trailers (in our opinion). It did have a concrete pad, shade, and was a pull-thru. However, it's extremely narrow so we had to adjust pulling forward & back several times to make the turn into it & then straighten up against the pad with our 32-foot pull trailer with truck. This was harder to accomplish cause there were several large tree roots above ground so our truck tires would skid back & forth over them. The gravel is so worn that recent rains just made the area muddy. Once we parked, our slide out on the opposite side of the pad almost touched the electric box. The site is really designed for smaller or shorter campers. As empty as the park was, there had to be more sites better suited for us--not sure what happened there. The site was not near the office so we just sucked it up. We want to return, but will no doubt ask to be elsewhere. If you're longer than @25 feet, ask for another site.

Excellent place to get away and enjoy the outdoors while also having amenities like a pool, bathrooms, food, and whatever else you might need. Some things were still not open because of COVID, but even without everything it was a great time for the whole family. We stayed in one of the cabins by the lake and it was wonderful. Everything was nice and clean. We will definitely continue to come back for years to come

This is our family go-to! If your looking for a get away that is clean, fun, and has a friendly staff then this is the place. Prices are more than reasonable, especially when you consider the amenities. Put-put, fishing, decent sized pools, arcade, plus activities for the kids.

Place rocks. I had no idea there was a huge arcade and the equivalent of a small swim park. Awesome. Will return soon.

Beautiful campground! Great accommodations! The staff really makes you feel like you're part of the lake ridge family.
