Greater Grace Chapel

We visited last week (Sept 13, 2020) and were welcomed by warm and loving folks. The message was inspiring, comforting and challenging at the same time. So relevent for these times yet from days of the isrealites seeking land of milk and honey promised but fear prevailed for another 40 years. The parise team lead us in worship beautifully. We will be on our way back to the Berkshires in Massachusetts next week but are going to wait until after the concert... Blessed to have worshiped with these children of God and will again.

GGC has been my home for almost 3 years now and I can honestly say it's the only church that I have ever been able to use the word home for. No church or person is perfect, and all beliefs and backgrounds are welcome here. Leadership strives to actively walk and work out their faith in practical ways throughout the Lynchburg community and while this church may not be for everyone, the diverse body who is always willing to ask hard questions and humbly learn are unlike anywhere else I have been in the Burg. Leaning more towards Armenianism believing God's grace and salvation is available to all, we hope that you will come to learn and think critically about all you hear drawing your own conclusions so that we may in turn learn from you.

Honestly the best, most caring, genuine people I have ever met. Would highly recommend this church, the pastor and his wife go above and beyond for the congregation any time of day or night. If you attend greater grace they become so much more than a church, they become family. God really shows up here in big ways and every Sunday you can feel it.

I don't attend this Church, but I wouldn't hesitate to do so. I listen to Pastor Al every Saturday morning I can at 9:30 AM - Equip FM / 91.7 I really enjoy his teaching !! I find him to be very sound in his doctrine. I encourage anyone interested in this Church to attend, listen to him on the radio, there may be other Sermons online as well. I definitely wouldn't let any negative comments made by anyone influence my decision. God gives His children discernment, pray & ask God, experience it for yourself, always check what you're hearing against the only source of Truth - God's Word. God Bless

This is a great church. It is like a family. When I started going there I remember a professor tell me that I should fine a church that would challenge me and ask me questions that I never really thought before when reading the Bible. This church has increase my knowledge on the Bible and strengthening my faith every time we meet on Sunday or any day of the week. This is a great place to be and I would tell anyone to come and see what it is like to be apart of the GGC family.
