Wish the people was a little bit more friendlier.Dont judge someone by what they drive or the fact people have issues financially not everyone was born into money.I myself go because I want to be closer to god i feel peace when i am there.

We just moved here from across the country and wanted to attend a Latter-Day Saint congregation. We found them here and introduced ourselves and our family was totally welcomed with open arms. Great people, friendly, and warm for sure. Those we've met at church so far are certainly dedicated to trying to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I've been attending church at this building ever since I moved to Lynchburg in 2007. There are many friendly people here who are very welcoming. Worship services are at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m., so I've found it flexible when my schedule requires me to be elsewhere at my usual time.nnThere are lots of families at church here, including young families with children, some older couples whose children are grown, and some single people as well. I used to be somewhat in charge of the singles group activities. Now that I'm married, I teach music for the children's Sunday school. It is a good experience where I feel comfortable and can learn about the word of God.
