The woods right next to the children's playground is littered with broken glass and shards of metal, as well as alcohol bottles. There are multiple dead trees that could fall at any moment, and widow makers (dead branches just waiting to fall and kill someone) are prevalent. Do not recommend this park, but if used, make certain your child does not wonder into the forest.

No actual bathroom ((nasty portable potty)) no water so bring your own. Sunny day great without shaded spots not great.
Its public but no Services and bad toilet
Fairfax county has some really good parks. Well staffed usually and most grounds well kept. Any messes are usually cleaned up quickly. Not like I have seen in parks in other countries like to our south.
