Bull Run Campground

I felt totally safe! Love that trails are connected right to the spot. Felt comfortable with the space between sites! I would definitely come back! Dog friendly too! Bathrooms were easy to get to, super clean, and lots of room.

Great campground. Nice bath houses and laundry facilities. Staff is super friendly. The campground is attached to Bull Run Regional Park. There is also Atlantis water park right next to the main entrance. There is a big playground for the kids. When making a reservation make sure the site you pick has what you need if you have a camper. They have sites with water sewer and electric but they also have sites that only have electric and water or just electric. There is a dump station on the way out. The sites nice and clean. I wasn't able to get into a cabin so I am not sure about them but they do have several cabins. There is no tv hook ups or wifi.

Staying in a cabin... very nice cabins. Bathrooms very nice and clean l. No complaints at all.

Beautiful use of the area. Many ‘U’ shaped pull-through sites. Undulating roads, exactly what we have come to expect from government designers- site contours follow the road- a 2 degree slope, consequently it’s nearly impossible to level a RV.nnA 6” difference from front to rear for me. I saw numerous units with tall piles of lumber trying to attain level. A shame since, in design, it was such an easy fix.nnThe park is a showpiece but it’s functionality is poor. It would have been a 5 if it had been built by people who actually camped.

Quiet camping amongst treed lanes. Well maintained, and set away from traffic and freeways.
