Pristine building with breathtaking views. Great school with 92% first try board passing rates.

Beautiful building on top of Liberty Mountain connected to the main undergraduate campus. Stunning view of campus and the Lynchburg valley with the Blue Ridge mountains in the back drop. Excellent program. I graduate May 2019. Top quality curriculum with diverse training from academics, to patient encounters and research, to anatomy training. LUCOM has international connections throughout Central America, the Caribbean, and Africa where LU has built and sponsors facilities for medical students to go on medical mission trips as part of the LUCOM curriculum for electives. World class facilities from anatomy to lecture halls to simulation labs and a Christian environment where all are accepted and loved by faculty. The student body consistently strives to help each other be the best they can by from little things like a class Facebook page where people post notes they took from a class you may have missed and reminders for things coming up. National connections for doing your 3rd year core rotations in multiple states should you choose. The home site, Centra, is a great, diverse facility with basically all pathology. The region is a great place to live with tons of outdoor activities like hiking, greenway trails, water sport, and a beautiful downtown scene. Not to mention, division 1 top notch sports and facilities of the undergrad campus. No better place for your training—both as a physician, and a man or woman of character.
