Isabella's Italian Trattoria

The service was excellent, very attentive. Within a few minutes of sitting they were giving me water and ordering my drinks. The food was good. The only problem was that they did not take all of our dinner plates away when they served our dessert. Besides that it was excellent and I recommend coming here.

By far some of the best Italian food in Lynchburg. Flavor is excellent with many menu options and a revolving daily specials menu. A personal favorite is the Lobster Ravioli with tomato vodka cream sauce, which hits all the right spots in regards to a lobster pasta dish.nHigh class service, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I want to give more stars but I can't. We ordered a mussel dish and the mussels came out with the shells broken in a pasta dish. We used caution removing the broken mussels (over half the dish) and proceeded to eat with caution. First bite I got a shard of shell mixed into my pasta and I almost choked. The waitstaff was friendly and apologized for the error even though it was not her fault. The manager came over and was nice but dismissive of the issue. When we got home i realized I have a chipped tooth and I looked up cooking broken mussels and it's actually dangerous because the mussels could have been dead for who knows how long before being frozen. Irresponsible of management and the kitchen to serve such a dish.nnWe go here every year for our anniversary. Some years it's 5 stars some years it's 1 Star. Not consistent at all. This year was a 1 star year.

Best restaurant in Lynchburg. Excellent food, excellent service. Our family always looks forward to dining here!

Ok... so you know those places where you are instantly greeted like long lost family regardless of the fact that you've never been there before? This is it! Amazing staff, especially our server who fulfilled every special request without batting an eyelash. Fast and excellent service, thank you. Now for the food part need I mention portions are so large that they had to wheel me out of there? Nearly, though. Fresh food, we all had different dishes and we shared. All were excellent. I was so impressed with everything, thank you so much
