Finding this spot wasn't easy. Have to drive through an abandoned Training Center.. roads are marked but unclear on how to get to parking. Area was completely deserted so much so I did not feel safe to get out and wander the trail. Had I not been alone it looked to be a beautiful area to explore.
Wanted to give it a 3 1/2 stars. Alot of the area's are off limits to hike and dead ends. Still has some nice areas to look at but not what we were hoping for.
Tranquil and reserved, but the one lane to get there and back makes it unnerving. The walkway immediately next to the river is private property.
Nice tree lined asphalt trail. Nice to bike along the river.
Always a wonderful walk.
