Riverside Park

Beautiful park! Enjoyed the paved trails and the view of the river. The pavilion area was great. Very clean and well kept. Lots of space to spread out. Can’t wait to come back during the warmer months and try out the tennis courts.

Nice to see the train in it's restored condition. The shed is nice as well. It has been a long time since I have there, so I have a question! What happened to the passenger car that used to be a part of the train? I know the train was in a state of disrepair for years, so I'm guessing it was to badly deteriorated to be salvaged. What a shame! Still a hidden gem in Lynchburg!

Beautiful park! Great things to see while we were staying in Lynchburg. Would love for some of the exhibits to be finished.
