Hollins Mill Park

Unfortunately for me, I lost my water bottle while on the trail, but it is an easy trail, mostly flat. There are some parts that you can go exploring and it's close to civilization, so if danger or injury occurred, you would be within a mile of help. The trails were well kept and the directions are clear.

If you have limited time to do the water fall loop, this is the one to skip. Great park though if that is what you are looking for.

We had our a pre-wedding BBQ here (it has a couple grills and tables) and frequent it with our kids now. It never changes - truly a magnificent staple. Fun to visit every season, and the Blackwater Creek Trail in general is a nice place to workout or just take visitors that are from out of town.nDownside is that the water overflows under the tunnel - this could make it hard to walk across the road and onto the other side of the trail. You’re forced to use the road to cross, which can simply be inconvenient for folks with pets or kids on a simple outing.nEither way, good place!

This park is beautiful. I think it is perfect for couples and family.
