Pittsylvania Wayside Park

Probably the best scenic type park in the area. Awesome new playground with a 'real' zipline that's actually zippy. The trails seem pretty new, one of which is a boy scout project, and they're very well maintained. The other goes up about a 1/2 mile and circles around next to the creek, which is looks and smells super clean, which was a big surprise. The hanging bridge, though small, is a great tough, too. Definitely will be making the drive out here again just for the park.

Unbelievable improvements to this park, especially considering what it was just a few years ago. Very nice playground with a low ropes ride. Tennis courts and a public restroom. Multiple walking trails that are mostly covered by trees and lots of picnic tables. Everything is handicap accessible except for one large picnic shelter across the creek. It's a hidden gem in Pittsylvania County.

You guys if you have not taken your kid here you absolutely must. They have upgraded this park and it is a wonderful place to bring your children or just to go for a walk there's some nice walking trails and you can bring your pet and let them walk to. It's a must do for families!

Has a nice play area for of all ages plenty of stuff to do. Lots of benches to rest on some locate with a nice view of the creek. They also have walking trails.

We really enjoyed the park. I love that they have the companion swing for swinging with baby/toddler. My 1 year old was obsessed. My 11 year old was particularly fond of the zipline thing. Great park and playground!
