Had the specials— pimento BLT and the corn salad. AMAZING! People were friendly and service was great!
Loved this place. Don't be fooled by the front, the inside is very clean and cozy. I had a loaded potato ans it was awesome and very filling. Service was surprisingly quick and very courteous. They were very accurate at taking and filling your order even when you have special requests. The food tastes fresh and I think the dressing was made there.
Food's very tasty, everything is made in house. Perfect place for a light lunch(portions aren't huge). The feel of the place is very cozy and quaint yet comfortable; it's a very old colonial style building that's been redesigned into a cafe. Service is excellent and the homemade pies are a great finish to a good light lunch. It's on the pricier side but a nice road trip stopover. You should check the hours if you plan on going because I do believe they close after a later lunch hour.

James Burke House is a quaint lunch-only place occupying a old brick home. The menu and specials are lunch-oriented, including mainly sandwiches and salads, and a few special dishes like quiche. Prices are very reasonable. Not elegant but the surroundings have a certain charm and the food was delicious. Definitely will return when I'm in the area around lunchtime.
