Leesville Lake Campground, LLC

Do not recommend to anyone that travels for work especially in the winter months. Be sure to read all 163 of their policies or they will definitely be quick to put you in the wrong over the smallest infraction. If you plan on having more than one vehicle be prepared to park the additional vehicles in a muddy lot 1/4 mile away from your campsite for 50 dollars per vehicle per month. We were without power for 5 days and when the power returned I was told I could not use my water because I did not have the the proper hose and didn’t pay the additional fee for them to “winterize” my faucet on a low 30° day, just to shower and do my dishes quick. You also cannot bring/buy your own firewood from anywhere else. On top of this you must trim the grass around your campsite. If you do not give a 30 day notice before departure you will not receive your deposit back... long story short I paid over 800 dollars for a one week stay with no reimbursement. These are a few of the things I encountered over the one week I stayed there. Highly recommend keep searching for a more suitable campground.

Great place to stay on an RV trip! Reservations were easy to make, the campground is beautiful and peaceful and the RV pads are roomy. We were met on the road by Jeff and directed right to our spot. Got a large amount of firewood for $5 that lasted 2 days and we still left some for the next occupants. On Saturday night Jeff also entertained the campground with a concert; he's a really good musician! Will definitely be back!

When you buy an old campground, you have to kick out the trash that causes problems. Then you have to fix all the problems that were rundown from previous owner. They have and this campground is brand new. Man you will not believe how beautiful this place is. Quiet, peaceful and groomed. When is the last time you pulled into a spot that was easy to get into, roomy, level, new electrical boxes, new picnic table, fire rings and $5 firewood is a half a front end loader full? Didn't even have to spend an hour levelling as spot was level and fresh gravel. You got to come check this new campground out. Owners making improvements everyday because they too were campers. They understand the needs of campers and built this one right. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Lake is right down the road and marina around the corner. I give it a 5 because I live the RV Life. Come here and behold the beauty of God's Country!

Stayed for 1 month had to move my trailer 5 times. Told i couldnt have my radio on at 7 oclock in the afternoon but would get out there with his horn and blow it for 2 hours every weekend
