Nice place for a picnic. You have two small lakes, and a couple of barbecue grills. People come to fish often. Nearby there's a kids' play area. In the backdrop you are surrounded by medium-sized hills. I wonder if there's a nice trail somewhere.
Mint Springs is so beautiful and it's a place mostly only locals know about. Once spring really hits there are tons of tiny streams and creeks, spring ephemerals, and lovely wildlife. Just watch out for the muddy parts of the trails. 10/10
So much to do at this park! There's always plenty of parking and places to spread out during these times. The trails are well maintained and the playground seems to be new. The views cannot be beat either.
Park has nice amenities. Including pretty well maintained trails, a sandy beach for swimming (only open in summer), picnic areas and a nice jungle gym for the kids. Views from the main hiking trail were nice in November because the leaves were off the trees - there would not have been that many views otherwise.
Really pretty park with lakes and a little stream. It also has walking trails, picnic spots, and a beach area at the top lake.
