I have been a member of Planet Fitness for 3 years now. I have not been since July 2019, due to area, time, and now the pandemic. On March 1,2021 my annual fee came out and I instantly called in an attempt at a refund and cancellation. I’m aware the contract states to cancel before the annual fee you must reach out on or before the 25th of the previous month. Considering I haven't been in over 8 months and have gave planet fitness hundreds of unused dollars the only solution they could come up with was to cancel the membership over the phone with no refund. I also asked for my contract to be attached to the email since I have yet to actually see it. I then did not receive a conformation email nor anything showing it had been canceled. I then had to call back and wait on hold for 30 minutes ... again. I was on the phone with Planet Fitness for over and hour today and never received the email. The third person I talked to sent me “Your membership has been canceled” from their personal email and immediately hung up after. I have yet to receive anything I was told I was going to or asked for. I am entirely disappointed in the customer service and how they approach situations. I should have received my annual fee back and I definitely shouldn’t have to call 3 times to get a simple email.

Excellent gym! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Facilities are very clean! Lots of equipment to use. We highly recommend the Waynesboro Planet Fitness!

I am a black card membership which entitles me to use everything in the GYM From exercise equipment to tanning beds, And massage equipment, And being able to bring a guest is awesome Also I travel a lot to firginia beach in other areas and I can go to any other planet fitness GYM And for such a small monthly fee, Who could ask her one anything more !
