North River Gorge Trail

When we went hiking on this trail, it was spring, and the river had overflowed. When I saw that, I realized I had to cross the river. I was waist-deep in the river, and the current was strong enough almost to take me away. Plus, the water was cold to the bone. So when I got out, it was super painful because of the cold. So don't go in spring or winter.

Beautiful trails. Well established campsites with firepit. Near quaint creek.

I was on my way to Staunton Dam and it was too cold to hike anyway but definitely going to try it out in the spring if I am still in the area
