101 West Beverley - "The 101"

Great food and amazing service that's perfectly adapted to the times. 2020 had been rough on...well, everything, not the least of which was good food. Like poke bowls. After the urge grew too strong, my wife and I tried out The 101 and were NOT disappointed! The fish was fresh, there were many ways to customize the order, we could make our own bowls or choose premade bowls we could add things too, and the portions were enormous. Not only that, as a medical worker, I got some sincere thanks and kindness from the staff, which made my day.

The food here is so yummy and the folks who run the place are super nice. I ordered the house tuna poke bowl. Yum yum yum! Highly recommend it!

My husband and I were craving poke bowls and we had no idea there was a place in Staunton! I'm SO glad I found this place, because their food is delicious. We created our own online for pick-up and both were fantastic. The service was also amazing - quick, pandemic-safe, and friendly. They saw that my husband was in his work scrubs and their kindness made his day! We'll definitely be going back for more!

I love this place SO MUCH! The poke (pronounced pō' kay) bowl concept from Hawaii is customer customizable ingredients. This makes for nearly endless combinations! They always have some special non-poke bowl specials including some kind of soup and some kind of dessert plus usually one other entree. Currently they have two adult beverages of their own creation that are both delicious - a rum punch and a vodka spiked version of their Thai Basil Lemonade. I believe they also serve bottled beer. There is canned soda, I think, and both sweet and unsweet iced tea. The couple running it, especially Jac (short for Jacqueline I think), are the best, nicest people and it's a pleasure to give them my business!

101 West bev is top notch. They extremely knowledgeable about food allergies and go the extra mile to make sure there is never any contamination. The food is excellent and the specials are incredible. The staff is very friendly.
