The Gateway Cafe

I was in town dog sitting for family and decided to try a different coffee shop each day. This day I headed to the Gateway Cafe since it was recommended by my local family. What a great choice! I ordered a Salted Caramel Iced Coffee that was so yummy. Good, strong coffee flavor and very nice salted caramel to balance. Definitely a very indulgent treat! I shared with the two women behind the counter that I wanted to visit the Blue Ridge Parkway and needed directions. Not only did they verbally share directions and pointers, they stopped and wrote down directions for me. Exceptional customer service and southern hospitality! I will definitely visit Gateway Cafe again the next time I'm in town.

Augusta Health Pulmonology girls loves the Gateway Cafe. The food is absolutely delicious (homemade) and and the ladies there are the bomb. And they deliver.

Absolutely scrumptious fare, served with respectful friendliness. A true blessing to the community!
