Canteen900 at Canteen Park

This evening I ordered take out and upon arrival, there was a short wait. At that time I noticed boxes of latex gloves, which I have an extreme allergy to so I asked the expediter to check if the cooks were using them. After checking, he said they were and I said that I could not have any of my food but I’ll take the other food. When I said they should post a sign that they are using latex, the man said he would. I then told them that it’s cheap to use latex and they can choose another type that won’t kill customers. The bartender started yelling at the expediter and at myself. He asked what kind of gloves they should use and that they aren’t cheap because they’ve been in business 13 years and I should call them about the allergy. I stated that I shouldn’t have to and that it’s not their normal practice so they should post a sign for customers. That is when the bartender screamed that they didn’t want to feed me and I need to the F get out. I requested a full refund at that time instead of a partial. The guy continued to harass me and yell across the restaurant. He screamed that I was making a scene when he was the only one yelling. Mind you, only the server had on a mask while serving customers, so I guess the rest of the staff is exempt from the Health Department regulations. I am extremely disappointed, we’ve loved Canteen 900 since we moved to the area but the couple of times we have tried Park, it’s always left us dissatisfied and this was the straw that broke it. We will never give any Canteen our business ever again. Word of wisdom: when a customer has a deadly allergy, you don’t scream at them to get out because they are critiquing your business practices, you take the criticism and become better. Mr Bartender, you should be ashamed! Thank you to the man that was trying to help me. I’m sorry you have to work with such an unprofessional bartender.

Amazing food! Fun staff! Really cool environment! Love the local artists they use for everything from furniture to wall art! Brilliant place and idea!

In the midst of a Pandemic this awesome restaurant made life a little sweeter!! Great food and fabulous service!! Good job guys 2 thumbs up!!!
